there is another way fore, despite
all the faces so dour
staying serene and fair, united we courageously dare.
never mind the jaded lives, never mind the barren fields
never mind the fallen leaves, never mind the frozen lakes.
staying positive through life's test, gladly laying all else to rest
it is what we truly believe in, that we will finally reel in.
never set your sights too low, never get your inspiration slow
never vet fallen shadows blow, never let despair glow.
high above we set our sights, far beyond all our earthly mights
if we were to be aiming lower, when can we be shooting higher.
never take your eyes off the ball, never make a hopeless call
never rake the hard soil, never make a fruitless toil.
like the far reaching bright ray, set your mind far above the fray
it is the straight arrow in the quiver, that pierces the armor of despair.
never let your mind wander, never let a weak moment steal the thunder
never get your heart falter, never let your life go helter-skelter.
staying in the moment, leading life without any lament
realizing our inner strengths, ready to go great lengths.
never give in to the empty flares, never be overcome by uneven glares
never give in to the dark cloud, never get run over by motley crowd. |
